Mane Stay is a research formulated, topical solution for managing hair loss of all sorts, including male patterned baldness or androgenic alopecia, diffuse thinning, etc.
This topical supplement contains simple, yet clinically-proven, physiologically active ingredients such as niacinamide, caffeine acetylsalicylic acid and succinic acid. Our Ingredients
CAFFEINE: Numerous of studies have confirmed the hair-growth effects of topical caffeine. According to research, topical caffeine penetrates the hair follicles quickly, and within the first 20 min after application. Once in the hair follicle, the topical application of caffeine can improve ATP production, inhibit phosphodiesterase, lower tissue bound estrogen (which inhibits hair growth), and stimulate and promote hair growth. It has even been proven to effectively treat androgenic alopecia, better than minoxidil and without the negative side effects. Caffeine also helps to improve the delivery of the other ingredients in Mane Stay. 1,2
NIACINAMIDE: This derivative of niacin is a potent hair growth stimulator. In study, topical niacinamide demonstrates a statistically significant increase in hair fullness by promoting hair follicle metabolism. 3
SAYLICYLIC ACID: Topical aspirin is the Swiss-army knife of hair growth supplements. It targets and corrects hair loss on many levels, blocking the production of hair growth inhibiting inflammatory cytokines (TGF-beta 1), prostaglandins, DHT & estrogens. Studies have found topical aspirin can signficantly improve hair growth in men and women with androgenic alopecia. 4
SUCCINIC ACID: Human clinical trials find that increasing ATP levels in the scalp promotes hair growth in androgenic alopecia. Hair follicles are among the cellular systems most sensitive to ATP depletion. Studies reveal that increasing scalp levels of succinic acid, dramatically increases ATP levels in the scalp, and supplies more energy to hair follicles for remarkable increases in hair growth. In fact, succinic acid is so effective at stimulating hair growth, that the precursor substance (pentadecanoic acid) is used clinically in Japan to treat hair loss. According to research, the topical use of pentadecanoic acid increased scalp succinic acid levels and thus ATP levels in the hair follicle. This resulted in a significant reduction of shedding hair, a greater appearance of vellus hair and change of vellus hair (peach fuzz) to terminal hair (mature hair). They also found that hair density and thickness increased by 4.1%. 5, 6
In distilled water, with 20% ethanol solution.
Recommended Use:
Apply 1-2 droppers to clean scalp and gently massage in. Avoid getting into hair as much as possible and try to cover as much of the entire scalp as possible. Use once daily – do not exceed dosage since too much topical caffeine was found to have diminishing effects. The optimal dose for hair growth is a 1% solution, which is what you get in Mane Stay with 2 full droppers.

Hello Kim, we are sorry to hear it didn’t help! Hair loss can be tricky, because the best remedy it so remove the cause. In the case of what you may think is viral-induced hair loss, obviously something that would address the virus would be the best solution. Mane Stay isn’t an internal product, and not intended to treat viruses. It is most effective in people who have a grasp on the cause of their hair loss. Anything that interferes with cellular energy production and metabolism chronically can interfere with the very sensnitive metabolism of the hair follicle. The hair follicle is unique in that it has an extremely high demand for energy, and subtle shifts in energy production caused by stressors (viruses can be a chronic stress), can cause the hair to quickly fall out, and go dormant, with the regrowth process being very long. Mane Stay is designed to basically even the imbalance of degeneration caused by stress, and regeneration, by stimulating energy metabolism in the hair follicle. Although the ingredients are proven to help reduce inflammation associated with energy wasting, and stimulate the anagen (growth phase), unique factors have to be taken into consideration, because at the nd of the day, the energy supply to the hair follicle has to be greater than the energy wasting caused by individual stress. For example, if one has a chronic infection from let’s say a root canal, then taking Mane Stay and not addressing the root canal doesn’t give the hair much of a chance as the infection likely has a stronger influence. This is why there will never be a single, silver-bullet treatment as hair loss is a complex biochemical issue with often many stressors contributing to it. Mane Stay can help mitigate some of the inflammation caused by stressors, and stimulate a growth phase, but would be best combined with a more complete treatment that addresses possible hormonal imbalances, infections, etc.
